Include Vitamin C in you diet. Fruits and vegetables like oranges, cantaloupe, broccoli, strawberries, peppers and cranberry juice must be taken by arthritis patient and others. Vitamin C prevents bones from deteriorating and also stops cartilage from wearing off. If cartilage is already damaged Vitamin C helps in restoring it.

Calcium helps is strengthening the bones and it is important to include calcium rich food like milk, yogurt and cheese for those suffering from arthritis.

Omega-3 fatty acids helps in reducing inflammation and stiffness of the joints and also helps in stopping of wearing down of cartilage.
