Pain is the most common system and factor associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis disease. It occurs in the joints area which has been affected by the disease. Pain occurs in three stages, first it is mil and occurs occasionally, here when it stops paining, patient feels nothing as if there is no disease at all but one must take the symptoms here very seriously and reach out to an Ayurvedic practitioner for an early and better treatment. The second level is where the pain gets moderate and starts occurring more instantly and also lasts for long, patient starts to feel the pain while carrying heavy weight, climbing stairs, kneeling, jumping, etc. The last and third stage is where the pain gets strong and remains continuously making it impossible for the patient to walk or carry out any other routine work.
Rheumatoid Arthritis disease is caused due to wearing off of cartilage from the joint area. Cartilage helps in smooth movement of bones in the joint are, stops them from rubbing each other and bear shocks. In this disease, the immune system of our body becomes overactive for some reason and starts attacking the joint area causing the cartilage to wear off. This causes pain and inflammation.
Though the exact reason for overactive immune system is not known, in Ayurveda, it is believed that it occurs due to the accumulation of the toxin (ama) in our body and also because of the imbalance in the tri-dosha: Vata Pitta and Kapha. Ayurvedic practitioner at Mata Jaagi Devi Ayurveda and Yoga Research Institute treats Rheumatoid Arthritis by bringing the balance to the tri-dosha, removing ama, healing destroyed cartilage and reducing pain.

It is not advised to carry out any therapy on your own.
